Leading Ligths meeting at La Reunion - April 2018

During the week of April 16 to 20, the Erasmus + project Leading Ligths teacher's meeting was in La Reunion, the french island in the Indian Ocean, to the east of the island of Madagascar. 


Réunionese culture is a blend of European, African, Indian, Chinese and insular traditions. The most widely spoken language, Réunion Creole, derives from French.

Since 2010, Réunion is home to a UNESCO World Heritage Site that covers about 40% of the island's area and coincides with the central zone of the Réunion National Park.

During this week teachers had the opportunity to meet and contact directly with the cultural and landscape diversity of this island.
