SOS Racism

On April 27th, a lecture on racism was held at the Sá de Miranda School by an activist from the SOS Racism organization, Dr. Joana Cabral.

Dr. Joana is a psychologist and university professor, researcher on issues of discrimination, exclusion and social inequality and, in addition on activism in SOS Racism, coordinates a street group that makes intervention with homeless people.

The lecture was organized by the 11th grade class in the scope of the English and Philosophy subjects and was attended by the classes 10º3, 10º5, 11º3, 11º5, 2P2, 2P3, who showed a lot of interest in the subject and allowed a good dialogue with the activist.
